Fiddlehead Farm

About Fiddlehead Farm
Fiddlehead Farm is a small 5-acre farm and certified kitchen in Pittsboro, NC. We sell baked goods, jams, jellies and preserves, hot sauces, and finishing salts, all made with love, and the best local and organic ingredients we can find. In addition, we grow a small but mighty selection of vegetables and herbs that make their way into many of our products. Production Practices: We focus on local and organic ingredients; on the label for each product we identify the farmer/producer or source for all the raw ingredients in that batch. Jams are made in small batches of 8-10 jars at a time in copper pots, cooking the fruit down until it thickens on its own. Only a few jellies use pectin. Hot sauces and finishing salts use hot peppers and herbs from the farm's garden. Produce is grown with compost and no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Where to find us: We sell at the Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Chatham Mills Farmer's Markets. You can also find our products on the LoMo Market and at the Saxapahaw General Store.
