County Resources

The Piedmont Grown label certifies foods and farm products that are grown, raised, and made in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. To protect the integrity of the label and the local food market, all businesses must meet specific standards and sign the licensee agreement to use the logo. If you have not already done so, please add a business to your account and complete the certification process. Once you have agreed to the Licensing Agreement and been approved by Piedmont Grown you may use the Piedmont Grown logo to market your business. We have prepared both general and county specific Piedmont Grown logos for use in several different file formats.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE LOGOS ARE FOR LICENSEES ONLY AND CANNOT BE USED UNLESS YOU ARE PIEDMONT GROWN CERTIFIED.

Piedmont Grown, the Center for Environmental Farming Systems, and the NC State Extension Local Food Program have collaborated to offer the Local Farms and Food Profiles for each county in the Piedmont Grown region. These materials were based on the 2017 and 2012 USDA Ag Census.
